Roger Morriss will provide a talk on the life of Ernest Shackleton - and lessons of endurance, courage and adventure.

The Shackleton Presentation is the Life and Times of Ernest Shackleton Antarctic Explorer who for many years was eclipsed by Scott but in recent years is now seen as one of the greatest Antarctic leaders.
Roger retired and moved to Norwich 15 years ago. For some 38 years he was involved in international marketing which took him to many countries of the world. He was a Parish Councillor for 12 years but stood down at the last election. He is married and has three grown up children.

The NR2 Men’s Institute meets monthly (last Thursday) for a social and a talk of interest. To date, talks have been by local publisher and creative writer Charlie Watson on publishing; Mantle of the Expert Director, Tim Taylor on boys and learning; local historian Colin Howey, on the history of Tudor Norwich and local engineer John Petch, on the building of the Burma Railway.
