Ballinger’s ‘Fields of Wellbeing’ model provides us with a context to facilitate an integrated theory of change leading to improved wellbeing and positive impact on others e.g. families & the interplay between economic, personal, cultural & social factors.

We aim to create a sense of commonality across groups of men while recognising we are all individually working with different things at different times and in different ways. For example: Retirement, loss and bereavement, changes in employment, relationships and sometimes separation.  Managing conflict. Managing difficult emotions.

Our support includes:

  • Building resilience & self-compassion,
  • Addressing problematic behaviours;
  • Developing friendship – positive relationships & meaningful social connections;
  • Skillful communication;
  • Working with shame and similar difficult unresolved perspectives

Our primary focus on these is from a gender (male) perspective - the four archetypes of King, Warrior, Trickster, Lover. The Hero's Journey in complex, ambiguous, uncertain times.

How we work this? How do we turn from negative to positive emotions and a positive take on masculinity?

Result? We aim to support you to be in (#)BetterPlace.
